Why do you work in this field?
I work in this field because helping people is my passion. I love the fact that I get to be the person that guides people to the right treatment center for them. I am the hand that I never had in my own addiction. Being the first voice of hope that many people hear is such a huge blessing and I am truly honored to do what I do.

How long have you worked in this field?
I have worked in this field for over a year.

What do you bring to the table?
I bring many things to the table, but most importantly I bring my experience, my strength and my hope. When on the phone, I get to tell my part of my story and I can always tell that by doing so, the people I talk to get a glimpse of hope that there is a way out.

What are your ‘Super Powers’?
My “super power” is that I am Empathic. I have the ability to feel other’s feelings, even over the phone. I am also able to read others which I can attribute to my great listening skills. Nothing gives people a greater feeling than knowing that they have been heard.

What do you love about yourself?
I love a lot of things about myself, but I think the thing that I love the most is that I LOVE. I love the fact that I can love no matter what. All my love is unconditional. Being able to love makes it so easy to be able to forgive, no matter what.

I like to spend time with my family and attend meetings.

What do you like best about your job?
The thing that I like most about my job is that I get to help people who are where I have been.

What’s the greatest thing you ever did?
The greatest thing that I have ever done was get clean and sober.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I am empathic which means I can feel what other people are feeling.

Who are your ‘mentors’?
My mentor is God.

What is something that you think everybody deserves to have?
I think everybody deserves to have a happy care free life. One that is full of love and joy.

How do you see yourself?
I see myself as a really good person. I am someone who gives more than she takes and who lives by certain standards of love and care. All my love is unconditional and I have the ability to forgive all things.
