Drug & Alcohol Detox
Putting Your Best Foot Forward There is hope for those struggling with drug or alcohol addiction: hope for you, or hope for your loved one. No addiction is ever too deep, too dark or too powerful for recovery. The first step toward lifelong recovery is to seek clinical treatment. As with any journey, it all begins by taking a few small steps forward.
About The Detox Process Detox provides a firm foundation on which sobriety can be built and developed. Yet, detox can also be dangerous, especially when done incorrectly. It is not an exaggeration to say that improper detox can be life-threatening.
Each resident is provided with a safe, supportive environment, a clean and positive living experience based on recovery, and a new way of living without the use of alcohol or drugs.
The main goal of our Residential Treatment Centers is to cleanse you from the inside out and bring about a permanent change in your behavior, helping you get back to a healthy lifestyle free from all types of alcohol and drug addiction. In order to bring about such important and drastic changes, our facilities will provide you an appropriate treatment plan in different stages, ensuring your steady recovery.
Partial Hospitalization Program
The Solution Based Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is our highest-level outpatient treatment program, where clients can recover for 60 days or more. Through a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy techniques, education, 12-step principles, and group therapy, clients strengthen their recovery while living in their own homes or sober living.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment, also known as IOP, is a primary treatment program recommended by a clinical and medical assessment during drug or alcohol treatment.
Intensive Outpatient Programs may be recommended for those who may not need detox or a residential facility. Following a successful detox, an IOP can also enable people to continue their recovery therapy on a part-time, yet intensive schedule designed to accommodate personal and professional life.
Sober Living is a reflection of an important reality about recovery: It is ultimately a process that lasts a lifetime, and the daily challenges and stresses of your regular life can sometimes make recovery difficult to maintain. In sober living, individuals develop the skills needed to cope with these daily struggles, and to prevent relapse; they are also given opportunities to practice those skills while still living in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Though we do not offer sober living at Solution Based, we do connect our clients with sober living communities—whether here in California or elsewhere across our nationwide network. We proudly endorse these as safe havens, comfortable and encouraging places where you can adjust to your new, addiction-free life.
Drug and alcohol addiction are accompanied by many dangerous symptoms. One of the most harmful of these symptoms is denial. Simply put, addiction destroys lives. Many of those who struggle with addiction have a hard time admitting the extent of the problem or even acknowledging that they have a problem at all. This is not their own personal shortcoming—it is a symptom of the disease itself.
Still, it makes it difficult for family members and loved ones, who desperately want to see the individual get help but do not know how to approach the subject. After all, when an individual does not take responsibility for his or her actions, and does not even acknowledge a problem with addiction, how can addiction recovery even be a topic of conversation?
