Megan Bay

Clinical Director

Why do you work in this field

I am continually enamored with how people can decide to change their lives or not. Week by week clients continue to put in the work it takes to change their lives for the better or choose to be stagnant. Being with the client during this transformation is what keeps me in this field.

How long have you worked in this field?

I have been working in the Mental Health field since 2011 and in the Recovery field since 2016.

What do you bring to the table?

My job as a Therapist is to help the client find their own answers. I work with where the client is at to help them make manageable changes in their lives. By coming alongside the client, I support the client in achieving realistic goals appropriate to their end goal.

What are your “Super Powers”?

Organizing. Physical and emotional organizing are very different, yet extremely impactful in life. When someone is used to living in chaos, organizational transformations can dramatically reduce symptoms and help a client feel more in control of their life.

What do you love about yourself?

Humor and the ability to put a smile on someone’s face

What’s your favorite positive quote?

“The past can hurt, but the way I see it you can either run from it or learn from it.” -Rafiki,

The Lion King

What words best describe you?

Charismatic, Selfless, Leader, Empathetic

Positive things you like to do

Having a healthy lifestyle balance is important to me. You can find me watching football, walking my dogs or having a magical day at Disneyland.

What do you like best about your job

Being around a great team makes each day I come into work an amazing day.

What’s the greatest thing you ever did

Being a Foster parent to rescue dogs is extremely rewarding. Knowing the impact you have on their lives as they heal and learn to trust humans again while they wait for their forever family is the best feeling.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?

Sadly, no

What is something that you think everybody deserves to have?

To be treated as equals with dignity and respect.
